Day 5 – 2026

Friday, January 16

Scripture: Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Reflection:

God invites us to approach His throne with confidence when we pray. This confidence is the result of our relationship with Jesus who is our High Priest who passed through the heavens and presents our petitions and concerns to the Father when we pray. Jesus experienced every condition and emotion that you will experience and understands your weaknesses and needs. During His life on earth, He was tempted in every way, yet He did not sin. Through His death and resurrection, He provided access to God’s throne of Grace when you pray. When you pray, surrender your life to Jesus and pray the Word of God with boldness concerning your requests believing God for the answers you seek.

Prayer:

Oh God, teach me to approach Your throne with bold confidence when I pray believing that You hear and will answer my prayers. Lord Jesus You are my holy high priest who knows my weaknesses and my needs. I present my petitions to You believing that You will always answer and provide what is best for my life and those people connected to me. Thank you Lord for answered prayer. In Jesus Name. Amen.
