The Light of God’s Word
Reflection
The Word of God offers everything that His people need to navigate through life on God’s road to righteousness. From the time a child begins to walk, that child begins to choose a path, direction and destination that they will travel. That child will naturally walk to areas that are well lit. As the child grows he or she will venture out into a world filled with darkness with many paths to choose from. In those dark places, God provides His Word as a GPS road map to guide and keep us on His righteous path which leads us in safety to the places and destiny He has chosen for us. His Word will “guide your feet in peaceful ways and turns your midnights into days.” Allow God’s Word to illuminate your steps and guide you in His path today and every day.
Prayer
Dear Lord teach me to walk in the light of Your Word. Please keep me on Your path of righteousness so that my life is pleasing to You. In Jesus name Amen.
