January 2, 2022 – JUSTICE, VENGEANCE, AND MERCY

Aim for Change

By the end of this lesson, we will EXPLORE God’s justice in the face of human sinfulness; REFLECT on the dangers of allowing sin to control us; and REPENT of thoughts and actions that could harm others and ask for God’s mercy and forgiveness.

February 27, 2022 – SERVING A JUST GOD

By the end of this lesson, we will EXAMINE the rebuilding plan for the Temple in Jerusalem that God gave to King Cyrus, BELIEVE and TRUST that God provides resources for the tasks God asks us to do, and SHARE situations in which believers will trust God’s provision and act in faith.

March 13, 2022 – FREEDOM TO WORSHIP

By the end of this lesson, we will REVIEW the pivotal role of Darius in getting the new Temple built in Jerusalem; PONDER excuses we offer for failing to act in accord with God’s will; and CONFESS our failings before God, receive the joy of forgiveness, and get on with the task at hand.

March 20, 2022 – CELEBRATE PASSOVER LIBERATION
